ALL BLACKS AD CAMPAIGN FOR AIG

AIG is the proud sponsor of the New Zealand national rugby team, the All Blacks — one of the most followed rugby teams in the world. To promote the sponsorship and build viewership for an upcoming game in the US, AIG made a significant investment to reach the audience of The Wall Street Journal with custom-crafted ad units.

Our solution offered users a variety of ways to explore, track and interact with the latest social media from the team and individual players, and to learn more about the dynamic sport of rugby itself.

Expandable banner units appeared on the WSJ homepage, engaging users with video clips and announced the upcoming local match against the USA Eagles.

Below: Dynamic, expandable portrait units, appeared on article pages, where users spent more time, offering users the chance to explore the rugby field positions and the players that fill them, above promotional video player.

iPad footer units were expandable as a homepage takeover.
